How it works

Every stage of a Grand Tour (Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España), pick who you think will win. Reply to our daily "predict now" post on Bluesky, or just post anywhere with #pelotonpredictor. Predictions only count for the upcoming stage and close when the stage starts.

Scoring: you get points equal to your rider's finishing position (1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2 points, and so on). Finishing outside the top 20, DNF, or DSQ costs 20 points, and not submitting a prediction costs 25 points. The lowest score at the end of the race wins; ties are broken by whoever picked the most stage winners.

One catch: you can only pick each rider once per race - so you can't just play Pogačar every single day. Choose wisely.

Reply "status" to any bot post on Bluesky to get a link to your own picks so far.

You can change your prediction as many times as you want, the last change before the start of the race counts. A change is only taken into account if you receive a confirmation from the bluesky-bot.

Going on holiday and want to set your picks in advance? Start your post with "stage <number> <rider>" (e.g. "stage 9 Pogačar") to lock in a prediction for a future stage instead of the next one.
